Doubt 1: If i create the period type quarterly (4 quarters a fiscal year) and i want to add an adjustment period then shud i add one quarter??
or if its one day for every quarter then how do we represent it in the fields available ?
Doubt 2 : If we consider july 1 2008 to 30 june 2009 as a fiscal year then do we type 2009 as the year , even while mentioning 2008 months? I understand tht it shud be 2009 yr as its fiscal year. had it been a calender year then it would be 2008 rt? Confused Confused

Creation of adjustment periods depends on your requirements , if you think you need to enter adjustmet entries every quarter , then you need to add adjustment period every quarter - This period can have all the days of the month.

or you can have one day for the adjustment period like
From to 01-DEC-08 to 01-DEC-08.

If you want need only one adjutment period in the starting of the year just add the Ist month period as the adjustment period .
This period can have the entire month . if this is the case create another adjustment period in the end of the year .

Your enter the Year as 2009, month will be defined as actual calenadr month
01-JULY-08 to 31-JULY-08 -name should be Jul -09
